Pevy Ouko

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Pevy Ouko is a finance and economics professional and an avid football enthusiast. Born and raised in Oyugis Town, his love for football began at a young age. Over the years, he played for several teams across Homa Bay County’s lower leagues before moving to Nairobi, where he represented the University of Nairobi and later featured in the Nairobi County League, Division 1, and the National Super League — Kenya’s second-tier competition.

After years on the pitch, Pevy transitioned from active football to pursue a professional career as a Financial Auditor. Despite this shift, his passion for the sport never faded. Today, besides his work as an auditor, he serves as a Sports Data Analyst and is the founder of Samba Analytics, a firm dedicated to providing data-driven insights to teams and players across East Africa.

Pevy’s inspiration to co-found Nurture & Transition Kenya (NUTRA) stems from his experience observing the challenges many amateur footballers face after retiring from active play. He believes that young and aspiring players must be mentored not only to excel in sports but also to pursue education and personal development as a foundation for life beyond football. Through NUTRA, Pevy seeks to ensure that talented youth receive exposure to opportunities and that those who don’t make it professionally are supported in transitioning into fulfilling alternative careers.

Bilton Odhiambo

CO-FOUNDER

Bilton is a seasoned footballer whose passion for the game began at an early age. Throughout his career, he played for several teams across the lower leagues, experiencing firsthand challenges and missed opportunities that often hinder talented players from advancing to professional football.

Although now retired from active play, Bilton remains deeply involved in the sport. He runs a thriving sports shop with operations in both Nairobi and Homa Bay counties, supplying football gear and equipment to players and teams. His commitment to nurturing young talent is evident through his consistent support to youth academies, where he donates balls and training kits.

Driven by his love for mentorship and community, Bilton joined Nurture & Transition Kenya (NUTRA) to help guide and inspire young footballers—empowering them to pursue their dreams while preparing for life beyond the game.
